We are so pleased that you are here, we are Beatriz & Sean. I am from California and Beatriz is from Palencia, in the north of Spain. We both love travelling and first met adventuring on the East coast of the United States. After living a few of years in San Francisco, we came to Spain for “a couple of years”. As fortune would have it, we discovered the south of Spain and started Hotel Tikar.

Booked a table for menu del dia on a Friday afternoon, beautiful little restaurant with a gorgeous garden area. The quality, presentation & value of the food was outstanding (€16.50 for 3 courses). Attention to detail was just perfect & the service was great. Fab wine list too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this gorgeous hidden gem (only negative is it's took me so long to finally get round to visiting!)
